Maybe this should be filed under lost and found but I'm curious how my favorite teacher is doing nowadays: coach (Ally) Smith. Last time I saw him was at a graduation in 1992.

Maarten - I happened to run into Coach Smith about 2-3 years ago at Franco's (gym in Mandeville) while my husband and I were working out during a short visit home to see family. He was a personal trainer. Not sure if he is still doing that now. He looked fantastic! I recall he had bypass surgery back in 90-92.

Coach Smith

I use to work at Franco's for 10 1/2 years and while working their Coach Smith worked in the Fitness Dept. for about 3 years. As well as Coach Connerly. Coach Smith had left for awhile due to surgery, returned and then left again to go back to teaching in Mandeville. Coach Connerly left about 3 - 4 years ago. I saw Coach Smith in YaYa's Daiquiri Shop about a month ago...doing well and seems very happy. Still teaching...
