Update to my status. I just started a new job 2 weeks ago. You are now talking to:

Phil Dyer
Sr. Network Engineer
Coastal Training Technologies.

Pretty cool. They are world-wide, so I'll get to go to places like India, Brazil, Philippines, Europe. Just got my passport in the mail today!

Congrats. I hope you don't have to get your MCSE now.

No, I'm a router jockey now. cisco, juniper, foundry. Mostly the only OS I touch is FreeBSD. :D

I wish. I really want to move into something like network security, but I have to wear too many hats here. We were looking into a collaboration solution, and I was pushing for GroupWise, but I got out voted by the higher-ups. Next week, we're setting up an Exchange server...so now I get to attend a 'boot camp' to get a MCP in Exchange/SBS.

dude, I feel your pain. I've admin'd Exchange for the last 5 years. The closest I have to get now is qmail. :)

I'm very into infosec myself. I've been unable to really get into it with my last job. My current job will pay me to go to blackhat, defcon, etc...
