Mardi Gras 2008

Post by shane »

My wife, Melissa, is riding in the Krewe of Eve parade this year (her first). If anyone's going to catch it, we'll be in the vicinity of New Covenant Presbyterian Church on Hwy22. Melissa's going to be on the upper tier, passenger side of the Jimmy Neutron float.

Happy Mardi Gras! And to all you saps not currently living in an area that celebrates, you have my sympathy...

My boss doesn't think Fat Tuesday should be a holiday.

We will be looking for Melissa and Melinda! Throw me something Mrs.!

We are having our annual Mardi Gras Party...spreading the good cheer across Europe. We introduced the Brits and now Germany. Jambalaya, gumbo, jello shots, bourbon slush, LIVE BourbonCAM on the laptop, slideshow of 300 family Mardi Gras pics on the big screen....loads of good music.....Saturday night! We have about 50 or more people coming and costume/mask is required. Will post some pics....doesn't beat the real deal, but best we can do here in Germany....they have their own celebration here...Fasching Parades are happening everywhere....

Sheri you should use your M.R.E. Antoinette photo as your screen picture. I tried uploading the pictures of the Push Mow parade but only got a white screen. :(

Sheri won best costume!!!

Off topic, but I'll be down for Easter week, if anybody wants to get together and grab a po'boy.
