COACH SALTER

Post by Julie Mathies »

Hi everyone...just thought I'd share that Coach Salter's wife, Betty, passed away last night. I don't know any details yet, but will post as soon as I find out any arrangements. I know that she has been very ill for quite some time now, and has been on dialysis for several years.

Please keep the Salter family in your prayers.

Thanks Julie, my mom told me she passed away this morning. She was a wonderful woman. I remember going to her house as a child when my sisters were in high school. She always made me feel welcome. Our prayers are with the family.

I don't remember her very well, but I think of Coach Salter everytime I see a football game. Man, did we jocks love and respect him. I know he loved her. He always told us that God and family were more important than football.
