My daughter, Olivia, will be in 7th at Pitcher next year...(for those that don't know it, Pitcher is now just 7th/8th grade...chs is 9th-12th). Anyway, yesterday she was told she made the dance team...she's officially a pantherette!

www.stpsb.org click on schools, then pitcher jr. high then student life then dance team for the complete listing of new pantherettes.

Julie, I was a pantherette in 9th grade. Anderson was still the sponsor but that year I was the only 9th grader on the squad. It was me, your sister Cathy, Scarlett Brooks, Ann Huval, Heather Jones, Elizabeth Gay, Amy Knight, and a few others I can't readily recall. It was a lot of fun. Olivia is enjoying seeing the pictures I have from that year!

Yep, you are right!! I remember now....Cathy has some pics from then, too....I think she has a bunch when ya'll atended dance camp. I was a Pantherette 8th Grade year (which is what the picture above was from). I believe Leslie and others were Pantherettes 7th Grade year when Ms. Cronin was still the sponsor.

By the way, I just talked to Cathy last night, and she asked about April. How's she doing?

Since we are talking about our children - my daughter (Nikki) will be attending FJH - (Fountainebleu Junior High which is 7/8th graders). She made the WINDJAMMERS DANCE TEAM :) The only one from Abita Springs Middle School.....

Also, I would like to add, my son Drew is currently stationed in Japan! He is doing wonderful and actually loves it over there! Please remember him in you prayers. Thanks so much...

Madonna, I know your daughter is very excited! I don't think there were many upcoming 7th graders at all that made that team! No one from Pineview made it that I'm aware of. It will be a very exciting year for these girls! and for us I'm sure!!
