Greg had a great idea of what kinds of music people are listening to now. I think it will be interesting to find out where the majority gravitates. Is it 60's? 70s?, 80s? or a good mix of all of them.

Here's some of my current fav's, definitely has a healthy southern tone.

Down
COC
Skynyrd
Suplecs
Black Sabbath
Emminem
Rage Against the Machine
Sublime
Slayer
Primus

I'm all over the place. The 80s list is in heavy rotation on my ipod. The following get a lot of play as well:

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Green Day, Dixie Chicks, Cowboy Mouth, Better Than Ezra, Public Enemy, Dash Rip Rock, Elvis Costello & Allen Toussaint, Rebirth Brass Band, Kermit Ruffins, Gershwin, Kanye West, Paul Simon, Gorillaz, Johnny Cash, Kasey Chambers, The Killers, Nickel Creek, She Wants Revenge, Billie Holiday.

I got the kids into some things as well. Sophia likes No Doubt, Louis Armstrong, Kelly Clarkson, Mozart and just about anything with a female vocalist (she LOVES a live cover of "Cherrybomb" by L7 and Joan Jett; yes, my 6 year old likes L7). Barrett likes certain songs, like The Who's "The Kids are Alright", Cowboy Mouth's "Hurricane Party" and Johnny Cash's "City of New Orleans." They both like anything by Cowboy Mouth and they love Jazz and bluegrass.

Not a big fan of Robbie. The girl next to me at work loves him and sings his songs all the time. When we go to the pub on friday for lunch, she drives so she can listen to his cd's.
