Great pics Sheri. Love the face paint - did you do it yourself?

I am so bummed but still love the Saints. I really thought this was it! We were going to the bowl! Coach Sean Payton - what a class act - and kind a cute too! Watched the game with a great group of people at a great crayfish boil with a former Chicago fan and citizen who has move here and converted to Saints' fan with gusto! Ate too much, drank too much and am still drinking away my sorrow. But at least Archie's boy got in! Geaux Peyton! Still have a soft spot for Archie after all these years.

Give 'em hell next year Saints!

Regardless of yesterday's outcome, an AWESOME season for the Saints and I'm mighty proud!! It's a little depressing back at work today, and not being able to discuss a Saints win! But, we have next year to look forward to. The Saints are back, and here to stay.....so next year, BEWARE!! GO SAINTS!!

Yep, it was a good ride, and I enjoyed every second of this season. The spirit that the Saints brought out in everyone here is strong enough to last us until August - and then we can start it all over again!
Thanks, Brenda. But I didn't do the face paint. The lady who actually did it resides in Lafayette and was only here for a week-end. I wish she was local, it would have been great to have her available for MARDI GRAS!
Yes, I'm sorry that the Saints are finished for the season, but there's no time to be sad - It's CARNIVAL TIME!!! I'm getting a late start this year, but am actively working on my costume. Some of the best shops to get costume supplies have not re-opened since Katrina so it's proving to be a little more difficult, and there's really not a lot of time before our week-ends are busy with parades! can't wait.

Hey Pocky Way

Sheri, I can't wait to see your Mardi Gras pictures!!

Maybe we can plan a meeting spot for some of the parades. Hey, that means we need to start a new topic for discussion!! I'll start one.....
