Has anybody spoken to Joey lately? I know he is still local - his Dad lives here in Abita, but no word if he will be attending Saturday. Anybody have any ideas on getting him to the reunion? I think he lives in Covington.
Sheri - last I heard he was living in Hillcrest outside of Abita. It has been awhile since I saw him though - ran into him at Poole Lumber Company. He was working there at that time.
I guess I could call there and see if he is still there.
Called Poole - he isn't there any more. I did see a couple of phone numbers onlien for a Joey Gauthier and his wife, (forgot the name) Anyone know the name of the lady he married so I can check if I have the correct person?
Marie Beau just told me within the last week that she saw him. I think she said he wasn't coming to the reunion. If I see her tomorrow when she drops her daughter off at the daycare I will ask her if she knows how to get in touch with him.
I called his Dad's house today and left a detailed message for him to pass on to Joey. I also asked his Dad, Glenn, to please pass on this website address (maybe he'll read it and get hooked like the rest of us!)
Hey ya'll -- I sent a note to Joey to please send us his contact info so he can be included in the next reunion. I've been able to make contact with several other missing classmates as well through that site! I'm hoping I can get some updates to our class roster. Yes, I'm still maintaining that! Scary thought -- we're only a few years away from the 25 Reunion!!
