Jake Blues 8) said it best...

I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn't my fault!

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Not good enough.......

Chris, I'm at the damn airport, just checking to see if you are coming (how's that for guilt, guys and gals?) I'll be in Houston in 18 hours. Get to the airprt and we'll stow y'all away in our luggage, no excuses.

Get your a** to Covington next weekend. It's been too long!!!!!

Chris, I don't if you remember me (Delisa Morman) but, your name is very familiar to me. I'll have to look in the year to see if I recognize you. I too, live in Austin, Texas. I worked in Information Technology for the state (Health and Human Services Commission). What company do you work for?

Delisa,

Your name rings a bell but I can't put the face with the name. Like you, I've been in technology for a number of years working for GTECH Corporation (~13 years). Maybe you've heard of the company? We are in a number of countries/states so I've had an opportunity to travel and live in a few different places. I have a few different friends that work for the State of TX in IT but not at HHSC.

To everyone else that might read this - have a great time this weekend! It would have been fun seeing everyone again.

Chris,

Isn't GTECH the company that runs the Texas Lottery? I do know a few people in some other agencies. What state agencies?
