Brenda, it will be nine hours to Chicago then another two hours into New Orleans. It's a lot easier coming back to Europe than going to the states. Mall hair as it was called up in Colorado at the time, was just when the girls would pull their bangs straight up and hair spray them like that, so they would have four or more inches of straight hair, with a curl at the top! Pretty freaky! Not sure why it was ever in style.

Well, it's not as bad as "mall hair" in the late 80s. Not sure you saw that around there, but that was definately a bizarre look. (fortunately I did not participate)
